About Us

Since 1980, Our Savior’s Wesleyan Church has been a fellowship of believers that embraces and serves people from all backgrounds and traditions. A people-friendly church with an atmosphere of caring and concern, individuals feel a real sense of “community and warm heartedness” as they enter the church.
Reverence for our Creator and grateful hearts for His Son and His sacrifice for each of us shapes our worship. Empowered with the fullness of the Holy Spirit we pursue Christ-like living even in the midst of our humanness.
We offer two distinct worship environments.  8:00 am worship is more traditional with a mix of the best hymns and choruses.  10:30 am brings the same solid and practical message from God’s Word as the first service but is led by a worship band.  The worship is a freer style with the best of current song writers like Chris Tomlin, Glenn Packiam, Jared Anderson and more.  Mixing the best of new worship music with the finest from the history of church music, attendees from every background feel at home.  Messages from the pulpit are Scripturally based.  Our fellowship and services communicate a sense of joy, hope and deeper faith that inspires those who attend. A friendly, informal atmosphere provides a safe, relaxed setting in which your family can worship, make friends, and grow in Christ.

  • WE BELIEVE in the Trinity.
  • WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the Word of God and that it is our sole authority and guideline for faith and conduct.
  • WE BELIEVE that Christ died for all of our sins and we are all offered a personal relationship and eternal life with Him.
  • WE BELIEVE that Christ died to free us from the penalty of sin and to free us from the power of sin and that we are saved by faith in Him.
  • WE BELIEVE in the power of the Holy Spirit to empower and cleanse us to live like Christ.

Nancy and Gary Groubert | Choir and Orchestra | [ e-mail ]
It is no coincidence that the very thing that attracted Gary and I to each other, is the very passion we share for music as our way to spread the gospel. Music. Its what we do and who we are. We believe that music compels people to worship and seek God. All of our married lives we have felt called as a “team” to minister to people through music, both vocal and instrumental. We regard our rehearsals as worship services, rather than “practices,” whose primary goal is to compel heartfelt worship from the participants. We pray for each other, laugh and cry together. When we actually perform, our desire is to be so absorbed in the worship of the moment, that it engages the listener in a spirit of active worship as well. We hope to create an atmosphere that nourishes the movement of the Holy Spirit among the people. This easily explains why we actively recruit as many people as we possibly can to participate in these awesome experiences!
